Satt
Satt took his Freedom Flight on July 5th, 2020. Thank you to all of his Foster From Afar donors for helping us change his life forever.
A family from Kentucky vacationing in Puerto Rico stumbled upon Satt, quite literally. He was so skinny and dirty they almost didn’t see him hiding under their rental car for shelter from the sun. Thankfully they noticed his wagging tail and scooped him up and brought him back to their condo. He was their "pet" for the week but when they tried flying home with him, they learned about the requirements for transporting stray dogs off the island. They desperately reached out to us for help. Satt was heartworm positive so that meant months of treatment before he would ever be able to leave Puerto Rico.
Flash forward, and Satt was finally a healthy, happy boy ready to find his forever home. While being fostered in PR, we learned that he must have lived with cats in a past life because he seemed to really enjoy the company of his kitty friends more than all the other dogs. Thanks to your support, lucky little Satt not only got new parents, but cat siblings as well. He has also been renamed Archie, and now lives on the Delaware shore where he is the official greeter at his family’s boutique hotel.
