Marco

Marco took his Freedom Flight on July 5th, 2020. Thank you to all of his Foster From Afar donors for helping us change his life forever.

With all the natural disasters that have shaken Puerto Rico in recent years, owner surrenders are a sad reality. People have lost their homes and livelihoods, and can no longer care for their family members – four-legged included. Such was the case with Marco’s family. This lucky dog became an honorary Sato Project rescue who ended up having the pick of the litter of homes in New York.

Thanks to your support, Marco’s dream life became a reality and he is loving every second of it. He came off the airplane a bit shy (can you blame him?), but before we knew it, he opened up and began covering our team in kisses. He wasn’t ready to walk yet, and so he was carried out to meet his new parents like the prince that he is. Now, Marco is the most popular dog at his park in New York City, and his parents get stopped on the street all the time as people admire their new kids bright blue eyes and fluffy Corgi butt.
