Freya was found newly dumped on Dead Dead Beach. She must have been someone’s former pet, as she was very friendly and did not show any physical signs of living a hard life in the streets. When our rescue team approached her, she ran right up to them, happy to see kind faces willing to pet her. It is hard to imagine someone abandoning this sweet girl survive on her own. We monitor the beach every day, so fortunately, we were able to rescue Freya in time before any harm was able to come to her.

Freya is now safely staying in our veterinary clinic and completing her vetting protocols before she can fly to a new family. In the meantime, she would love your support to help her continue getting the care she needs along her journey. Sign up to foster Freya from afar below.
